Artist Statement

The interior world is porous. Where do I stop and where do you (the holy, or nature, or the energy between beings) begin? My work exists on that border of the unconscious and the present, listening for what is real. I express my states of mind/heart narratively, with personal symbols that resonate for me. Crossing borders from one material to the next, interweaving images, textures, and motifs to create wholeness and balance. Living in this natural world and mythic world simultaneously, a wordless poem comes into being.
