Artist Statement

Photography is the artistic medium that comes naturally to me. I utilize the tools at my disposal to seize the light that catches my eye. I'm fortunate to live at a time that enables me to transfer that vision into a photograph to be shared with the world, though few in the world will ever see it. I'm drawn to magnificent landscapes, everyday objects, everyday people, and everything in between. I try to extract beauty where none appears to exist. And I endeavor to do this in a way to bring pleasure to those who are seeing through my eyes, and my subsequent manipulations of silver salts, ones and zeros.
