Artist Statement

As a mixed media artist I utilize recycled materials, found objects, and salvaged items as my starting point. Everything then comes together with color. Sometimes it is the vibrancy of orange, red, and a splash of pink, other times it might be the serenity of blues and golden yellows but, always, my color palette is specific. For me color is a tangible element that pulls my pieces together.
