Artist Statement

Painting is my meditative practice. Through contemporary impressionism, I strive to capture the essence of the landscape with bold and blending strokes. I’m drawn to the instant and vibrant color of pastel pigments and hope to encourage an appreciation for pastel painting by sharing my work.
