Artist Statement

I have always created art in my life, but more recently I have been fascinated with creating jewelry. In particular I gravitated to a hot solder process that drew me into creating an organic/rustic way to showcase semiprecious stones. I loved all the possibilities this led me to explore, and the unpredictable elements that would arise in my designs.

I'm constantly adding new techniques to my work to transform from simple to more complex. I love to add old with new, up-cycling wherever I can.
