Artist Statement

Rose's inspiration in her photography and fine art comes primarily from nature, and our symbiotic connection to the natural world. The philosophy of learning how to see was integral to her education as an artist and designer, and she hopes to share that with the viewer. She also wants to convey that the healing power of nature can be found everywhere, even in the city. Animals, flowers, insects, and landscapes are her recurrent themes; these days, her small city garden is one of her main sources of inspiration. Her photos invite the viewer to connect to nature as well.
