Artist Statement

My latest paintings are built upon vibrant, unexpected color combinations and layered passages of paint exploring the porous space between memory, dream, and reality. Through shifting forms and bold contrasts, the paintings evoke a sense of movement both emotional and atmospheric inviting viewers to enter a story that is not fixed, but felt. The composition unfolds like a half-remembered dream: fragmented yet vivid, familiar yet elusive. This current body of work is about the “in-between” the moments where fading memories and imagined landscapes overlap, and where looking at a painting becomes a portal to another place entirely.
