ERA NOW + Arts for Vets + Women's Fund invite the public to submit creative works for 'She Holds These Truths...' a juried exhibition celebrating the power, resilience, and voice of women.

Inspired by the celebrations around the world on International Women's Day, March 8th, this exhibition is an annual joyful collaboration among three Grand Forks, North Dakota, organizations: ERA NOW, Arts for Vets, and the Women's Fund. We are honored to create space for and to uplift women artists and supporters of women everywhere in the exploration, education, engagement, and sharing of the creativity, stories, and contributions of women throughout the world.

This year's theme, 'She Holds These Truths...' stands as both celebration and challenge. A reminder that the truths we hold must be upheld for all. Through art, we affirm women's place not only in history but in shaping the present and future of democracy, equality, and freedom of expression.

The Title, 'She Holds These Truths...' is a play on the United States of America's founding documents and harmonizes with the inspired spirit of the first International Women's Day celebrations around the world. In this show, we examine the ongoing pursuit of equality and explore what freedom, justice, and representation mean through the eyes of women today.

We invite artists around the world to reflect on themes of identity, autonomy, and truth from personal stories of empowerment to collective struggles for rights still denied. We invite artists from all over the world to share their unique and personal stories and experiences based on these themes.

This is a juried exhibit with cash prize awards. Best in Show will have their work featured on a commemorative poster and promo materials for the 2027 International Women's Day Art Show. The artist will receive a share of royalties of poster sales. Artist retains copyright on all works.

Submission Deadline: February 9, 2026
