Art Design Consultants annual art competition and exhibition 'Art Comes Alive' (ACA) is nationally recognized as 'The Academy Awards for Artists'. Each year, we have the privilege of working with the best artists in the nation to showcase their work in a two-month long exhibit and help connect them with art industry leaders, gallery owners, and buyers!

There is no other event that celebrates the visual arts by awarding over $400,000 to artists. Our diverse panel of prestigious jurors come from across the country and are seeking artists working in a variety of media, subject matter, and price points. Jurors will cast their votes for the top artists who will be showcased in a final exhibition here in Cincinnati on November 18th, 2023 and awarded prizes including purchase awards, gallery contracts, publishing contracts, solos shows, publicity, and cash prizes.

Size Limit: You may submit 2-D work larger than 48 x 48 inches for the jury to view, but if accepted as a finalist for the gallery exhibit we cannot take works larger than 48 x 48 inches.

All visual artists must be above the age of 18 to participate.

FOR A MORE SUCCESSFUL ENTRY it is always best to enter more than one piece of artwork into ACA. By doing so, you are showcasing a cohesive, unified body of work, which greatly increases your chances of appealing to the Jurors. So consider submitting four images (the fourth one is free)!

ACCEPTED MEDIA:

• Artwork entered must be for sale and the price listed must be the RETAIL PRICE.

• Image uploaded must have neutral background (preferably black or white) or no background (cropped to edge of image).

File Format:

• Uploaded images must be in JPEG or PNG file format

• Keep file sizes under 10.0 MB (example – 1000 x 1000 px at 72 dpi)

ELIGIBILITY:

• artists must be above the age of 18 to participate

AWARDS:

All awards are selected by jurors and purchase award partners.

You do not have to be present at the awards ceremony to be eligible to receive an award.

SHIPPING REQUIREMENTS:

Once accepted into the final exhibit, it is the artists responsibility to ship their artwork to and from the Art Design Consultants gallery in Cincinnati, OH. All packaging materials will be cataloged and saved for return shipping. (Please, no shipping peanuts).

If the artwork does not sell during the show and a means of return is not provided within thirty (30) days of the closing date of the show artwork will be put into storage and ADC is not liable for any damages.
